Eagles sign newly-acquired Tapp to three-year deal

03/18/2010 - Philadelphia, PA (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Philadelphia Eagles signed defensive end Darryl Tapp to a three-year contract on Thursday.

Philly acquired Tapp from the Seattle Seahawks earlier in the week in exchange for defensive end Chris Clemons and a 2010 fourth-round draft pick.

Last season with the Seahawks, Tapp played in all 16 games and recorded 49 tackles, 2 1/2 sacks and three passes defensed. In his four-year career, all with Seattle, he has 186 tackles, eight forced fumbles and 11 passes defensed in 64 games.
